Exporting data from ePSXe 1.9.0 to 2.0.5

Good day.

I tried just moving the state/memcard files over to the 2.0.5 path but they're not detected and I keep getting error when reading the memcard files on any game.

Creating new memcard files from the 2.0.5 version also creates an error?

Any useful information would be appreciated!
