Turn off frame limiter doesn't work

I have a slight problem when playing any games from ePSXe because i used to be able to turn off the frame limiter so the game's loading screen will go faster but after downloading the latest ePSXe i just can not do that anymore, i tried changing the button mapping from 9 to Space but still i can't get it to work. And for the same reason my game is always locked in 60 FPS even though i enable and set the fps limiter to 120 in the menu (see picture)
