I really love cubic interpolation in P.E.Op.S sound plugin (it says "better treble" and indeed, it does exactly that!), but with this plugin the CD-DA track are not played from my games CUE/BIN images. With ePSXe SPU core plugin I get CD-DA tracks but the interpolation makes the low quality sound samples too muffled (might be actually more accurate but I'm not a fan of this).
