Can we pass a note on to calb, Galtor, and/or _Demo_ to build a Linux x86_64 (64-bit) version against libcurl4?
Indeed libcurl3 has referenced libcurl.so.4 for awhile but the symbol table was updated, with the release of Ubuntu Bionic 18.04 LTS, so that any reference to CURL_OPENSSL_3 now reads CURL_OPENSSL_4.
The package management system doesn't allow both to be installed and I don't think it's possible to do that anyway.
With the clout that Ubuntu totes in the Linux world, I suspect...
Ubuntu Bionic libcurl.so.4: CURL_OPENSSL_3 not found
