Program Window POPPING THROUGH!

For the last few days we have been playing Sypro The Dragon on ePSXe, in full screen, but every so often the ePSXe main program window keeps popping through and showing up in the full screen gameplay, we have also tried it in Windowed mode with the same result.

As soon as the program window pops up all controls are lost until you click on the game window giving it back it's focus!

Then when I was just typing this very message, the ePSXe program window which WAS in the background popped...

Hey,

This is my first emulator so apologises if this is a simple fix but my google fu has lead me nowhere.

I'm having an issue where every 20-30 minutes roughly my controller inputs seem "stuck" and I can't send any inputs (if I was walking forward the character would just keep walking forward). I can fix this by pressing alt + tab and after some images flashing on the screen I go back to the game and this fixes the issue and I can play again. It's pretty unplayable and I'm keen to get this...

Latest Win10 Update Broke ePSXe

Ok so today Win10 installed two updates:

Feature update to Windows 10, version 1703

and

Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1703 (for x64-based Systems) (KB4018483)

ePSXe was working fine until these installed. Now I get the old ePSXe has stopped working when I attempt to load an ISO(don't worry I do own the games I play. I just like the extra vid options and loading times of the emulator. Sweet 1080p PSX games)

Hi! I'm using ePSXe 2.0.5 for Windows; I have a problem taking screenshots.

Can you help me?

I'm running games via ePSXe Cope GPU fullscreen, I've tried two ways:
(1) Pressing F8. Nothing happens, "snap" directory is still empty, and F8 is not mapped to any external software.
(2) Using external software to take screenshots. It worked, but it's inconvenient for me, because I need to take a lot of screenshots of different games, and I don't want to crop them all afterwards (as they have black...

Screenshots taking won't work. Halp?

Raw input option in lilypad causes an issue

When I click ESC while the emulator is active my mouse completely dissappears and ceases to work so I have to crtl+shift+esc to turn epsxe off before being able to use it again, is there a way around it? I would like to use raw input since it causes my mouse movements to work more precisely

ePSXe: Problems with objects in game (regarding Resident Evil)

I'm not sure if anyone really uses the forums anymore but I have been having one issue when playing the resident evil games 1 and 2 (I haven't tried other games yet).
It's a really weird glitch where objects are placed either to the left or right to where they are meant to be.

For example: There is a puzzle in Resident Evil 2 where you have to move bookcases to match a picture. However, all of the bookcases were shifted to the right but the markers (on where to place them) remained the same. I...

ePSXe stops responding when running bios

I can't seem to get the bios to launch whenever I try to run the bios ePSXe stops responding as soon as I try to launch anything at the bios screen. I've tried several different bios with the same result. Does anyone know what might be causing this, I don't see any logs stored anywhere to find out what the issue might be.

Do you think that ePSXe team will start working on PS2 emulation?
Considering that PCSX2 team is working on PS1 emulation, coming onto ePSXe turf.
Who knows, maybe one day PCSX2 will be the ultimate PlayStation emulator.

Hey guys, glad to see this forum is still active. I have a question, maybe someone can answer...

Version 2.0.5 of ePSXe introduced CPU Mode options, but I can't find much (if any) info on it.
Is Interpreter the most accurate to use and is it the better one if you don't care about the (slow) tag?

Is any option preferred over the other in 2d sprite-based games vs 3d, or it has nothing to do with that?

I've tried a couple times in the past to make an audio CD image to use with Vib Ribbon, but hadn't succeeded in finding a reasonably simple way to turn some MP3 files into a CD image (without having to resort to things like burning a physical CDR, then make an image from that).

The release of Vib Ribbon on PSN today inspired me to try again, and I've found a pretty quick, easy way to do it. I thought I'd share that here.

You'll need PowerISO (http://www.poweriso.com/). It's a paid...

ePSXe Max NoUI - How can I edit the Settings ?

Hello there,

I am under Mac OS Sierra and happily playing PSX Games with ePSXe 2.0.5 for Mac, except it doesn't have a UI, so no menus. That would have been fine if there was at least a text file where the program loads its settings from so I could edit at least the gamepad settings. Anyone here has any idea how I could affect the gamepad settings on this version ?

Vertical Line on Screen, Multiple Emulators

I'm getting this black vertical line across the side of my screen with both ePSXe and PCSX-R. Every single game I try to run has this display issue. I tried switching plugins and messing with every option I could see but nothing seems to affect this at all.

ePSXe Memory card wiped / anyone have a late disc 1 FF7 save?

Hi everyone,
So rigged my little brother up with FF7 on ePSXe and he was really into it, was right near the end of disc 1 (Just finished Temple of Ancients). He had a break for a few days over Easter and he's just tried to open it back up, but his memory cards are blank. He was trying to play it properly without save states (I know: good intentions, but stupid and should have backed his cards up ... but he's 12 yo).

Anyway know threads like this have been posted heaps, but no one actually...

ePSXe GPU Core 2.0 Custom Shaders

Hello,

How to re-write custom shaders from OpenGL 2 plugin to Core plugin ?
File names are gpuCore.slf and gpuCore.slv but renaming OpenGL 2 shaders causes only screen corruption.

EDIT: I want to use Natural Colors shader because is giving game look as on my old CRT TV, more vivid.

LilyPad not compatible with Gran Turismo on ePSXe

Trying to play Gran Turismo with a keyboard. Internal plugin, no problem.

Switch to LilyPad, bind buttons, nothing happens.

It's just me???
