ePSXe Settings Removal Tool

since ePSXe stores settings in registry and that may lead to problems after using multiple versions of the emulator so i decided to make batch files that remove the settings for fresh ePSXe installations and for simplicity.

the zip comes with three .bat's:
  • remove all settings. (removes everything. its like running ePSXe for the first time!)
  • remove epsxe settings only. (same as above, but keeps plugin configurations.)
  • remove plugin settings only. (removes plugin...

I have some questions about a game's .bat executable

So, I made a quick .bat file after googling a bit in order to execute a certain game by simply double clicking it. It goes like this:
"C:\Users\USER\Documents\Juegos\ePSXe v1.6.0\ePSXe.exe" -loadbin "C:\Users\USER\Documents\Juegos\ePSXe v1.6.0\games\Crash Bandicoot 1\Crash Bandicoot.bin" -nolog -f -bios "C:\Users\USER\Documents\Juegos\ePSXe v1.6.0\bios\SCPH-7001.bin" -nogui

My doubts are:
1)Is there a way to hide the CMD window?
The "-nolog" command should be able to do it, but it doesn't.

Namco NegCon "No config required" Ray Tracers

Kind of a strange one here. I'm trying to play the racing game Ray Tracers using the Negcon setting in Epsxe 2.0.5 with an Xbox 360 controller and it works well enough only I need to remap the x and square buttons to the left and right triggers. I don't even care if the triggers work as true analog as long as I can use the to accelerate/brake. But as I'm sure you know I'm hit the "No config required" message when selecting any of the controller types in Epsxe.

The reason I say its a strange...

I know that this issue has come up before, but I have yet to find a thread in which I can understand any of the solutions. If anyone would be able to help someone who knows very little about this issue, that would be great. Thanks in advance.
I am using bin + cue files of the game and epsxe, my bios and plugins are below.
Video - ePSXe GPU core 2.0.0.
Sound - ePSXe SPU core 2.0.0.
CDROM - ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 2.0.0.
Bios - SCPH1001

Poor performance?

Hello, I'm using the epsxe emulator 2.0.5 to play hogs of war which while works fine.

Only problem is I'm getting really poor performance. My fps is around 20-25 and drops as low as 8-10fps in some scenes such as when in a tank.

My GPU usage at this time is extremely low (around 2-3%) and doesn't increase. I have tried a bunch of settings, lowering settings which makes no difference. Same usage, same frame rate what ever resolution and settings I use.

Is anyone else experiencing a similar...

Hi!

Im new to this thing so please be patient.

Aight, so I just recently downloaded ePSXe 2.05 with Pete's OpenGL2 GPU core 2.0.0. and I have run into some issues. Some games run too fast, approx. 400% faster. I use a Win 10 system with an Intel Core i5-4460 3.20 quad-core CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 graphics card. The thing is that neither force frame limitations (to a hard 50/60 frames) nor the emulated frame limitations dont seem to work. Not all games are affected for example...

Epsxe 2.0.5's netplay savestate

Hi.
When I've checked the last epsxe features, I noticed that it has it's own netplay system with a feature I hope is what I think it is:
"It is possible to load savestates in the player1, and it will be sent by
net to the player2." (quoted from the ePSXe_en file in docs)
But when I test it the load only works for player 1 and so the game goes desynced.
Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Memory card issue

I am currently trying to move from shared memory cards to individual memory cards. My issue is that for some reason it does not save the game after I close off ePSXe. Checking the memory card directory on ePSXe just shows "memcards\games\game name". I can not seem to even find that folder on my PC at all. Also my old directory used to be on my home network.

I am using 2.0.5 ePSXe. Games run fine other wise, and save normally if I use shared memory cards.

Question regarding save states on windows

I'm a pain in the ass when it comes to file hierarchy, & I was wondering if there was a way to change the emulator's save state folder.

I know how to change the destination of the battery save (or would I call it the memory card save? The original method for saving?) But I've got all my emulator's folders set up the same way so it's nice and predictable when navigating, and it'd be swell if my PSX folder were the same way. No biggie if I can't.

EPSXe - "plugin" does not work

Hello, I downloaded ePSXe Everything is how it is. But when I download a game like GameShark or Code Breaker, nothing goes wrong. Now I tried to download the Netplay plug-in, put it in there, and if I want to set it up, it will not appear. Do not you know why? Cheats do not go into it too (when I put them in the folder cheats). I am using version 2.0.5. And if I use PEC, too, nothing. I activate cheats, but there are no cheats in the game.

ePSXe Mac OS NoUI - How can I edit the Settings ?

Hello there,

I am under Mac OS Sierra and happily playing PSX Games with ePSXe 2.0.5 for Mac, except it doesn't have a UI, so no menus. That would have been fine if there was at least a text file where the program loads its settings from so I could edit at least the gamepad settings. Anyone here has any idea how I could affect the gamepad settings on this version ?

Hi.
Can i ask i downloaded today a latest version of ePSXe on my PC (i do not have ever ePSXe on my PC), and i config the ePSXe an wanted to start a game. I started the game and it stay on Black Screen, i waited a 3 minutes and the ePSXe crashed!
So i was sreaching on Youtube how to fix this an everithing was on Win 8/7/XP and i was reading the comments and under every video somebody comment "Not working on Win10 ! :(" so i wanted here on this forum if it is fixable...

I've literally tried everything and I can't fix this horrible screen tear. I've forced V-sync and triple buffering in my NVidia control panel, limiting my frame rate to 60, updating my graphics card drivers, nothing is working. I have absolutely no idea how to fix it. Can anyone help?

Here's my settings:

4x internal resolution, why so slow

As in the topic, why using 4x internal resolution is so slow? Does it really demand that much power?

What does it mean internal? PSX resolution, that's around 320/240 times 4 1280/960 how is that so much. My machine can easily run PS 2 at full HD same for PSP, my smartphone can run PSP at full HD.
I don't believe this is a software render issue as there are software plug-ins which can do full HD with ease so what gives?
