Aspect Ratio Problem

Hi. It is my first post. I have a question about aspect ratio in 1080p. I know how to set custom window mode and force 4:3 (1440x1080) but go and try Tomb Raider 3,4,5 with 4:3 ;), it's squished. I know that the game don't use 4:3 but other resolution. And my question is how to set that in 1080p correctly? I was trying to set custom window mode but how can I set it correctly when I don't know the original TR resolution? How can I get rid of black bars at the top and the bottom, and squishing?...

How to run Pal games at 60 fps?

I want to run Pal games at 60 fps. But without activating the fps limiter in video settings and set this fps limit to 60 fps.
I need solution like this, on pcsx2 emulator:
I found you can edit the ini file in the ini folder.
ini file to edit: pcsx2.ini
Look for: FrameratePAL=50.0 and change it to 60.
Can I modify something in epsxe files to run pal games at 60 fps?

ePSXe command line (limitiations?)

Hi,
I installed the newest ePSXe 2.0.2-1 and I tried to use the command line switches to run specific games from a batch file.
What I found is that when you run the game from the command line; memory cards and quick states are simply not working. NOTE: I also had to add -BIOS switch with the location of the bios file for the game to launch without an error about BIOS file which could not be found.

I know about loadmemc0 and loadmemc1, I am using it at the moment. The problem is that...

Hello,

I search anywhere but i did not find the solution to my problem!

I have bought 2 pads Spirit Of Gamer XGP WIRELESS, one by one, they works fine, but really impossible to make it work both in same time!!!!!!!

I try all options. With Xinput and direct input, always i can change the configuration for one of them but not for the 2 pads in the same times!
Of course always one does not work in the games (all)

PC is a GT 70 2QD Dominator MSI

I am having a very odd issue with expse When I set my video to full screen it is off center it says this way no matter what video plugin I use or settings I try to set I have attached a picture of that I see as you will see in the picture it is off center and the top off the screen is cut off and I have attached my settings I have tried all combos of screen stretching and all the various settings and cant get this fixed.
Below is my set up:

please take the opportunity to change the assigned button during emulator without restarting. ps1 far as I remember, it was possible to safely pull the gamepad while playing and insert another. but here not even a real gamepad, a virtual keys. so why can not change the management? not very convenient = (

Hi.
Can i ask i downloaded today a latest version of ePSXe on my PC (i do not have ever ePSXe on my PC), and i config the ePSXe an wanted to start a game. I started the game and it stay on Black Screen, i waited a 3 minutes and the ePSXe crashed!
So i was sreaching on Youtube how to fix this an everithing was on Win 8/7/XP and i was reading the comments and under every video somebody comment "Not working on Win10 ! :(" so i wanted here on this forum if it is fixable...

I hope this is the right forum to ask...

I was just wondering how I can get ePSXe to run faster when I fast forward it. Right now, I'm able to get 4-6x the speed on PCSX2 and 3-5x the speed on Dolphin (After increasing resolutions, anti-aliasing, etc.)

However, ePSXe is working a little strangely. For example, when trying a game, I can't fast forward through any movie sequences (They just stay at their standard frame rate), and when I CAN fast forward (Battles, walking around on the map,...

Hi guys, I have one question. You see, I played with this game and used Gameshark codes to do a kind of Purple Gem Cup outside Adventure mode. Hey,

I was trying to find a list of PSX games supporting DualShock, specifically the vibration feature of the DualShock controller.
Does anyone know where I can find such a list?

So far I know the following games for PSX support DualShock, although I'm not sure which of these support vibration as well.

Left analog stick while in digital mode.

I'm having some problems with the analog stick while in digital mode.
It's too sensitive. If I put it UP It registers the diagonals because the stick is a little bit to the LEFT or RIGHT.
Because of that it's quite impossible and useless to use the analog while in digital mode.

So, as a feature request, it would be nice to implement a way to make it register the diagonals only when the stick it's considerably to the diagonals.
Example: Only register UP/LEFT (or any other diagonals) when it's...

Hi everyone, first post here.

I used to play on the epsxe with a generic gamepad with no problem. Now I'm trying to use a PS4 controller and can't even configure out the controls. Whenever I tap on a button, it'll appear for a sec in the box and dissapear when I release it.
I've read somewhere that might be because one of the joysticks is not working well and since I'm a huge mongolian, I went to change my controller for a new one today (Thank God I still got the guarantee) and the same keeps...

Hello, So I downloaded, configure and install ePSXe v2.0.5 with no problem at all. I played the game, use some codes, saves, memcard, etc smoothly and perfectly.

But then I reformatted my laptop, and suddenly the ePSXe won't work at all. Not even running the bios, the same exact configuration, etc. Just blank screen.

first off, long time no see, it's been years since I've last visited here, but I decided to revisit ePSXe, so here I am.

Anyway, so yeah, the custom shader option, how is that even supposed to work? I mean it wants you to select a directory, which in itself is rather silly, and when I try them, I don't really get much of a result. Is the shader pack for pete's plugins and not the core? If so, where are some custom shaders for the core GPU?

Would be nice if there was some comprehensive...

Hello, I recently updated from epsxe v1.8 to 2.05 and I was checking out the new built-in plugin Pete's Opengl2 GPU Core 2.0.0. It has all the same settings as the opengl2 driver 2.9, with the exception of threading mode. It works pretty well, but it does cause a kind of distorted/wave effect in some things, such as the battle menu in chrono cross, and it is always present no matter the threading mode setting used.
