I've got two games right now that absolutely refuse to recognize the controller! They are:

"Rayman (USA)"
"R-Types (E)"

I also had an issue with "Twisted Metal (USA)" but I was able to get it working by ALT+Tab'ing and Mouse Clicking

If I have more issues of the sort with other games I'll post them here!

Probably seems pointless to most people but i just like having all my games as icons on my desktop (even games from emulators) I know how to make my own shortcuts and the actual icons for them and all that stuff and have done so for my Dolphin Emulator games and PCSX2 games.

This is what i enter into the shortcut path for my PCSX2 icon of MX Superfly... just wondering if i should exactly the same for my ePSXe iso's (by that i mean the folder i have them in and the folder ePSXe is in like it is...

As the thread title suggests, I can convert saves from PS1/PS2 emulators (e.g., .MCR and .PS2) to any of Sony's current save formats (e.g., VMP, PSV). I can also convert PSV and VMP saves back to MCR/.PS2, but you can easily do this yourself with tools such as MemcardRex (PS1) and MyMC (PS2, along with PSVExporter and PS2 Save Builder). I cannot convert...

Hello everyone, I'm new here so hopefully I'm putting this in the right place. I'm playing Breath of Fire III (USA) and don't particularly want to spend a lot of time grinding throughout, so I got PEC v3.2.2 working. The codes work but the only experience ones they have are 65535 EXP and Max EXP ( straight to level 99 ), way more than what I'm looking for. I've tried editing the 65535 exp code in codelist.inf, and here we come to my issues - my edits either don't work at all or have unintended...

Hi, I have a problem. I'm confused, I do not know which video plugin to choose. There are three different ones I'm thinking about:

- Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.9,
- Pete's OpenGL GPU Core 2.0.0.,
- PeteOpenGL2 Tweaks 2.3.

PeteOpenGL2 Tweaks 2.3 it's too heavy for me, it creates a slowdown and I do not like that xBRZ filter. Maybe I configure it wrong? Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.9 it just works but I want something updated so I chose Pete's OpenGL GPU Core...

Hey,Well, I have a problem with black squares

on the wheels of the car, for example in the game TOCA

Can someone help me out? When I try to play Vib-Ribbon, the music does not play correctly. It is just a high frequency static of varying frequencies. The menu music plays correctly, but just not the stage music, which is CD audio. I'm not sure if the menu music is CD audio. It worked correctly until I reset ePSXe's settings in the registry editor by deleting the key. Now, no matter what I do, the included SPU plugin results in static noise and third party plugins do not work. They either crash...

EDIT: officially done with this piece of garbage. Converted all saves and now use Retroarch exclusively for their Beetle core.

Well, I think this is honestly Aero doing this. The ONLY way I can get no stuttering now is to put on classic mode. I just disabled desktop composition as that works better.

Even in disabled mode the sound seems to get out of sync sometimes.

This emulator really needs some updates to its engine. But it is not a big deal.

My ePSXe 2.0.5 emulator has gotten an issue I have never seen before, and thus, I need your help to track down the culprit of the following two issues.

If I try to run a game like Crash Bandicoot (.bin and .cue file), I get the following error message on the black screen before the game loads:



When I hit Enter on this error message, ePSXe shuts down completely.

This "optime" does not occur if I load the Greatest Hits version of...

I started playing Final Fantasy IX on ePSXe and wanted to continue playing on my PS3. I wanted to convert my save to PSV but I don't have a homebrewed PS3 and all the threads I could find offering save conversion seem to be dead.

Can anyone here convert my save (attached) from MCR to PSV?

I've tried a couple times in the past to make an audio CD image to use with Vib Ribbon, but hadn't succeeded in finding a reasonably simple way to turn some MP3 files into a CD image (without having to resort to things like burning a physical CDR, then make an image from that).

The release of Vib Ribbon on PSN today inspired me to try again, and I've found a pretty quick, easy way to do it. I thought I'd share that here.

Hi.
Can i ask i downloaded today a latest version of ePSXe on my PC (i do not have ever ePSXe on my PC), and i config the ePSXe an wanted to start a game. I started the game and it stay on Black Screen, i waited a 3 minutes and the ePSXe crashed!
So i was sreaching on Youtube how to fix this an everithing was on Win 8/7/XP and i was reading the comments and under every video somebody comment "Not working on Win10 ! " so i wanted here on this forum if it is fixable...

I am reporting with another problem namely when I set open gl 2.9 configurations
according to this video

After the years ePSXe has became the popular emulator for the first PlayStation console, I think it should have the debugger that is designed to view/edit the game's ASM codes and memory implemented for the emulator like with no$psx and PCSX2 (the Playstation 2 one) which have it to allow game hackers to find codes and create cheat codes to manipulate the game's memory. I've tried both links for ePSXe on Linux 32 and 64 bit versions and can not figure out how to run it. I'm running Linux Mint 18.3. I didn't see anything with a .deb, so I thought the file was a Linux executable, so I told it to run the file as an executable and still nothing. Is it a batch file that needs to be extracted and recompiled in some weird way?

I've downloaded the formulae and installed it with homebrew, when I try to run the emulator, I get this:

And nothing else happens.
